Bidwells Million Makers: Raising funds to support The Prince's Trust

The Prince’s Trust is challenging teams of employees to come together to raise £1million to change young lives.  Bidwells is therefore delighted to announce that they are involved in the Million Makers Corporate Challenge.

What is Million Makers?
The Million Makers challenge sees staff from 80 companies nationwide competing to raise as much money as possible for The Prince's Trust.  Money raised will go towards supporting budding young entrepreneurs on The Trust's Enterprise Programme.

Teams of employees will compete across the UK to turn a seed funding investment of £1500 into a profit of at least £10,000, by implementing their very own mini enterprise.

What do The Prince's Trust Do?
Around one in five young people in the UK are not in work, education or training.  Youth unemployment costs the UK economy £10 million a day in lost productivity, while youth crime costs £1 billion every year.

The Prince's Trust address this by giving practical and financial support to the young people who need it most.  They help develop key skills, confidence and motivation, enabling young people to move into work, education or training.

Every three pounds raised for The Trust will provide two weeks support for a disadvantaged young person, helping them find their first job.
